6/12/2017 0 Comments LD Braithwaite in SugarLD Braithwaite Roses are one of my favourite in the garden. They remind me dearly of my mum and her beautiful gardens. I made these red LD Braithwaite and black rose and peony in honour of my mum and they are still my favourite sugar roses to this day. The beautiful detail and depth of colour just captures your heart. Making sugar flowers is my therapy.

Ruby Rose for our 17th wedding anniversary
I had some paste that was almost un-rescuable I had been saving for a special flower but it needed to be used as it was losing all its elasticity and going hard. When I realised it was nearly 3rd of June I thought it could make a lovely rose to signify our Wedding Anniversary. 20 centre petals to signify our 20 years together with 17 outer petals to signify our marriage. The colour is a mixture of Bakels Red Pettinice and Rainbow dust Progels. Its dusted very slightly at the tips with rainbow dust spring green. This was made with lots of love and enjoyment. I thought it was a bit worn looking.. a bit like us lol! Making roses is my therapy.
